What documents & eligibilities are required?

  • 3.Latest 2 months salary slip (in PDF)
    Or latest EPF statement with minimum 2 months contribution (in PDF)

  • 5.Others as required by ACOM(M) (if any)

  • 1. Individual aged 18 to 60 years
  • 2. Minimum monthly gross income of RM500
  • 3. Private and government employee Only
  • 4. Malaysian Citizen
  • 5. Not declared bankrupt
  • 6. Not a political exposed person

How much loan I can apply for?

For the first contract, you can borrow up to 0.5 times of your monthly income and not more than RM10,000.

For sub-sequence contracts, you can borrow up to 5 times of your monthly income and not more than RM100,000.

*The amount that you can borrow varies depending on the result of your credit evaluation.

How much is the interest rate?

The annual interest rate is up to 18.0%.

What are the minimum and maximum loan tenures?

The minimum loan tenure is 6 months and the maximum loan tenure is 60 months (5 years).

* On your first application, the loan tenure will be 6 months regardless of the loan amount.

PAYMENT

When is my first repayment date?

1. Contract signed before or on the 14th of the month

→The first repayment date will be the 1st of the following month.

2. Contract signed on or after the 15th of the month

→The first repayment date will be the 1st of the subsequence month instead of the following month.

How do I make repayments to ACOM(M)?

Currently, ACOM(M) only accepts repayments via online transfer or bank deposit thru our selected bank. We cannot accept cash over the counter at our office.

How will I know if my repayment was received?

Once repayment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation SMS from ACOM(M).

How do I request a full/early settlement?

You may settle before the maturity of your loan at any time without being imposed with a termination fee as there is no lock-in period. In such a case, you will be required to make full payment of total outstanding principal and billed interest only.

How do I request for a refund?

When we have confirmed that you have made a full settlement with excess funds, we will contact you via call or SMS.

If you paid your monthly instalment with excess funds and would like to request a refund before your full settlement, please call us at 03-2382-8050 or send an email to customer@acom.com.my.

What are the major risks if I default on my payment?

A representative may contact you.

You will be required to pay a late payment charge (8.0% per Outstanding installment amount (*1) ). It is calculated daily and charged on the next due date.

Calculation Method

The calculation method for the late payment charge is: "Outstanding installment amount x 8.0% / 365 days x Number of days past due (*2) ".

※1 It means the overdue installment amount or the remaining amount when there is a partial payment.

※2 We provide a grace period of five days from the due date, where late payment charges will not be imposed. However, after the grace period, late payment charges will be charged, including the five days.
